(left) Weekly Black Panther Community News Service issued May 31, 1970 - featuring The Pentagon by Eldrige Cleaver Story. (right) June 7, 1969 issue featured the the New York City police Department conducted a predawn raid,, arresting 21 Panther members charging them with conspiracy to bomb buildings in Manhattan.





May 2, 1967: Douglas being arrested after protesting the Mulford Bill at the California Sate Capital in Sacramento. The Bill, also known as the Panther Bill, made it illegal to openly carry weapons.
